Launching Romances Ever After & A Giveaway

Welcome, friends!

Lisa, Eri and I are very excited to launch Romances Ever After, a romance-focused blog. You may know me from my primary blog, Nick & Nereyda's Infinite Booklist. Ever since time got the best of me and I basically abandoned The Girl with the Happily Ever After, I have considered re-launching the blog, but I knew I didn't want to do it alone. This is where The Girl with the Happily Ever After merged with Scoundrels & Seduction. We hope to bring to you lots of great romance-related content, and we hope you'll give us a follow and enjoy our blog!

Just a few words about me, before I let Lisa and Eri introduce themselves! I'm a 23 year old graduate student. I've read romance ever since I was 12 or so, and my love for the genre has only amplified over the past few years. If I had to choose a favorite author, based on how many books of hers I've re-read, I would choose Lisa Kleypas. My favorite books from her have to be Blue-Eyed Devil and Marrying Winterborne. I also love books from Lucy Parker, Tessa Dare, Sarah MacLean and Jill Shalvis.

Hey, everyone!

I'm so excited for this project with Nick and Eri; blogging is really much more fun when you have great people to do it with. Anyway, I'm Lisa and I've been an avid romance reader for as long as I can remember. Other than romance novels, I'm also passionate about male models, bread, and pineapples on pizza (ha!). If I had to choose one romance novel to recommend for the rest of my life, I would first cry at the impossibility, and then I'd say Lisa Kleypas' Devil in Winter, which is about an unrepentant rake brought to his knees by a wallflower. So much goodness, great seduction, and also A+ sexy times. Also (because I can't possibly stick to merely one book) a shout out to Sarah Maclean's The Day of the Duchess; I've finished rereading it for the umpteenth time last night and it's everything I've ever wanted in a book (great redemption arc? epic second chance romance? A+ sexual tension? a boatload of angst? YEP).

Hello friends!

I am so excited to be part of this relaunch along with my romance buddies Lisa and Nick; I can't wait for all the fun things to come on here. I'm Eri, and the romance genre is my true literary love along with YA and I can almost always be found reading about a swoony romance. A Rogue by Any Other Name by Sarah MacLean is a die-hard favorite of mine, I can practically quote every line because I've reread it so often. It features one of my favorite tropes: the childhood best friend/sweetheart/etc. trope which I will forever champion as one of the best tropes to exist. Along with Sarah MacLean, I also adore Courtney Milan, Laura Florand, and Lisa Kleypas.
