Well, this was a fun ride! I have lowkey been waiting for Katee to write ménage for a while because she always writes great sexy, and now she did and I couldn’t be happier.
Meg Sanders enjoyed her wild night with a prince and his bodyguard—but now she’s moving on. She has enough problems without borrowing the kind of trouble Theo brings just by being who he is. But no matter how determined she is to leave that night a fond memory, she hasn’t seen the last of Theo and Galen...
Galen Mikos's life boils down to one goal. Keep Theo alive. But as long as Theo draws breath, he’s a threat to the powers that have taken over Thalania—and anyone they associate with runs the risk of becoming a target, too. Galen will never forgive himself if they let their selfish desire for Meg puts her in danger. But it might already be too late...
Theo Fitzcharles might be an exiled prince, but he doesn’t intend to stay that way. He’s only concerned with one thing—clearing his mother’s name and reinstating himself as Crown Prince of Thalania. There’s no room in that plan for distraction, especially when it makes him forget himself the way Meg does. But after spending one perfect night with her and his best friend, Theo has no intention of leaving her alone.
Even if it damns all three of them in the process.

I read the prequel novella a few months ago and I really liked it, but it's okay if you haven't read it because this book works as a standalone. Forever Theirs is set three months after the events in Theirs for the Night. Meg Sanders was drowning; she needed to find money to pay for her upcoming tuition fast or dropped out from her Master’s program. She also couldn't help but to think of a certain exiled prince and his bodyguard, with whom she had spent a wild night three months ago. Meg was willing to tuck the memory away as just that—one amazing night—but then Theo Fitzcharles III waltzed back into her life and with him, Galen Mikos did too.
I love the angst between the characters. Everyone angsts about the other two in this story, and it’s a valid feeling, IMO. From Meg’s side, there’s the fact that she’s a commoner and Theo’s a prince so she knows that their ‘relationship’ could never be real, because he’ll inherit a country and will be expected to marry well, etc. Galen feels like Theo and Meg belong together, because at the end of the day he’s just the head of security for the Crown Prince and future King of Thalania. Theo wants to have the cake and eat it too. He wants all of them to be together, but he can’t find a clear way to do that without jeopardizing his throne and it’s killing him.
I’m not really that into the suspense part of the story—I feel like it was not properly fleshed out, like it was just there for the sake of being there, and the conflict seemed too easily solved. That being said, I’m not too bothered with it because I’m here for the romance anyway.
Overall, Forever Theirs was an entertaining read. I would have been happy if the story had stopped here but since Katee is releasing a sequel, I’m not complaining. I’m also not complaining if Katee wanted to write a book on Isaac, I think he’s interesting.

About Katee Robert
New York Times and USA TODAY bestselling author Katee Robert learned to tell her stories at her grandpa’s knee. Her 2015 title, The Marriage Contract, was a RITA finalist, and RT Book Reviews named it 'a compulsively readable book with just the right amount of suspense and tension." When not writing sexy contemporary and romantic suspense, she spends her time playing imaginary games with her children, driving her husband batty with what-if questions, and planning for the inevitable zombie apocalypse.
